Purpose: This website provides interactive visualizations comparing MRMS radar-estimated precipitation with CoCoRaHS gauge observations for educational and research purposes.
Data Coverage: MRMS QPE (Quantitative Precipitation Estimation) radar data from NOAA and CoCoRaHS volunteer gauge observations across North America.
Limitations:
- Historical data only - not for current conditions
- Radar estimates may differ from ground truth
- Volunteer data quality varies
